Cupping Therapy is a modern approach to a Chinese physical modality. This is one of the most in demand courses we offer, because the techniques are easily learned and fit very will into a physical medicine practice.
This course is designed for western practitioners (osteopaths, physiotherapists, chiropractors, manual therapist, massage therapists, etc.) as much as it is for eastern medicine practitioners (acupuncturists, shiatsu therapists, herbalists). In this course we will teach you the theory as well as practical applications of cupping.
The professors for this course have a combined education and experience of over 50 years. They are licensed healthcare professionals at the forefront of their fields. You the student, will have direct access to these professors for the duration of your course. You can send them direct emails and ask them anything related to the course or the topics discussed in the course.
In this fundamental course, the student will learn the history, styles and types of cupping. We will discuss modern applications for, as well as, how to diagnose using cupping. While we will discuss acupuncture point locations, and use some TCM terms, we do this in a way that the practitioner does not need an acupuncture education to apply the techniques.
Over 30 high definition videos will cover the basic theories of cupping and the application of cupping therapy techniques for common conditions facing practitioners in physical medicine clinics.
As always, our videos are not only college level in theoretical content, but our practical videos show very detailed high-resolution images so that even if you do not know where a specific point is located, we will show you exactly where it is up close.
As with all our courses, you will have 1-month unrestricted access to your course, where you can watch it at your own convenience, as many times as you like.
When you have completed your course and are ready, we will send you a short quiz. Upon passing the quiz, you will be rewarded with a diploma which certifies that you have completed and understand the material in the course and that you have the necessary knowledge to perform these skills in your clinic.
